my dad is trying out his new snow blower that my grandpa passed on to him...
we've been blanketed in snow...12 or more inches (30.5+ cm) have fallen already, and it's not stopping...the trees hadn't even lost their leaves yet, and were barely turning color...the snow is so wet and heavy that a lot of the trees around my house are breaking under the weight of the snow. all day today i could hear branches breaking off and falling to the ground. only a few days ago i was basking in the warm sun...sitting out on my lawn in shorts and a t-shirt...it's amazing how quickly things change.
my mom loves decorating the house in each new season. She put these falling leaves on the window, but they seem so out of place with all that snow in the background. it feels like we skipped straight to winter...that's Colorado weather!

Those are some awesome pictures, I cannot say how much I miss snow, and winter, and seasons, and trees changing color... Here in San Antonio, TX its like summer year round (the A/C is currently on in our Apartment). I cannot wait to get back to CO (7 or so months!).
